1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy is issued by Shatkoff Fencing LLC ("Shatkoff Fencing," "we," "us," or "our"). We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal information. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you visit our website at https://shatkofffencing.com (the "Site"), submit a form, request a quote, book an appointment, call us, use our chat widget, or otherwise interact with us or our communications, including SMS text messaging, email, and appointment reminders (collectively, the "Services").
If you are a resident of a U.S. state with a comprehensive privacy law, please see Section 10 (State-Specific Privacy Rights) for additional rights and disclosures that apply to you.

2. Acceptance of This Policy
By using the Site or the Services, or by opting into our communications, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and our Terms of Service, available at https://privacy.shatkofffencing.com/terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or the Services.

3. Information We Collect

A. Information you provide directly. When you fill out a form, request a quote or estimate, book or reschedule an appointment, subscribe to updates, message us through our chat widget, or otherwise contact us, you may provide:

Contact and identifier information: name, email address, phone number, and mailing or service address.

Service information: property details, the services you request or purchase, scheduling preferences, and related notes.

Communications content: the contents of your messages, chat conversations, SMS replies, and support requests.

Communication preferences: your opt-in and opt-out choices and our records of consent for SMS and email.

B. Phone calls. If you call us, we collect your phone number and call details such as the date, time, and length of the call. Calls may be recorded for quality, training, and record-keeping. Where the law requires it, we will tell you at the start of the call that it is being recorded.

C. Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain information through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type, device and operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, time on page, clickstream activity, and approximate (city-level) location derived from your IP address.

D. Information from third parties. We may receive information from advertising and analytics providers, lead sources, referral partners, and publicly available sources.

E. Sensitive information. We do not seek to collect sensitive personal information (such as Social Security numbers, government IDs, financial account numbers, precise geolocation, or health information). If you voluntarily include such information in a message to us, we will treat it confidentially and use it only as needed to respond to you.

4. How We Use Your Information

To provide, schedule, and perform the services you request, and to provide customer support.

To send transactional messages such as quotes, appointment confirmations, reminders, and service updates.

To send marketing or promotional communications by SMS or email that you have consented to receive, where permitted by law.

To operate, maintain, personalize, and improve the Site and our marketing.

To maintain records of consent and opt-out activity for compliance purposes.

To protect our business and users, including fraud prevention and security monitoring.

To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

5. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information only in the following limited circumstances:

Service providers. We share information with vendors who perform services on our behalf under contracts that restrict their use of the information, such as website hosting, our CRM and marketing platform (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector, which powers our forms, chat widget, phone system, and SMS/email delivery), analytics providers, scheduling tools, and payment processors.

Legal and safety. We may disclose information when required by law, subpoena, or court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Shatkoff Fencing, our customers, or others.

Business transfers. If we are involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. Any successor will be required to honor this Privacy Policy.

With your consent or at your direction.

No sale of personal information for money. We do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration. Depending on the advertising and analytics technologies enabled on our Site (for example, retargeting pixels), some uses of cookies may be considered a "sale" or "sharing" for targeted advertising under certain state laws. You may opt out of these at any time using the methods in Sections 8 and 9, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal.

Mobile and SMS data. We do not share, sell, or rent mobile phone numbers, SMS opt-in information, or text-messaging consent with any third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Information may be shared only with the service providers that help us deliver our own text messages, and only for that purpose. This category of data is excluded from all other sharing described above.

6. SMS / Text Messaging
We collect your mobile number only when you provide it to us and affirmatively opt in, for example by checking an SMS consent box on a form or by texting us first. By opting in, you provide prior express written consent to receive recurring text messages from Shatkoff Fencing at the number provided, which may include responses to inquiries, quotes, appointment confirmations and reminders, service updates, and promotional offers. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe. You can also opt out by replying QUIT, END, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, or REVOKE, or by telling us in any other reasonable way, including by phone or email. We will honor your request within 10 business days, and usually right away. After you opt out, we may send one message confirming it, and you will no longer receive SMS messages unless you opt back in. Reply HELP for help, or contact us at +1 502-431-3444 or [email protected]. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We comply with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), CTIA guidelines, and applicable carrier requirements. Your consent is documented and may be revoked at any time.

7. Email Communications
We may use your email address to send transactional messages and, where permitted, marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any marketing email or by contacting us at [email protected]. Even if you opt out of marketing emails, we may still send transactional and service-related messages.

8. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, understand how the Site is used, and (where enabled) support advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings; some features may not work correctly if cookies are disabled.

Global Privacy Control (GPC). We honor browser-based opt-out preference signals, including the Global Privacy Control, as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. When a GPC signal is detected, we apply the opt-out to that browser or device. You may also opt out of certain third-party tracking directly via the Google Analytics opt-out (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout), the Network Advertising Initiative (optout.networkadvertising.org), and the Digital Advertising Alliance (optout.aboutads.info).

12. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Children's Privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Consistent with applicable law, we do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete it.
